William O. Murtagh, M.D., FACS, is fully licensed in the states of Ohio and Florida and board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Murtagh, a highly regarded Naples cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgeon, has over 25 years of experience in cosmetic procedures and reconstructive surgery. He received his medical degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, Ireland and post-graduate training from the University of Cincinnati Department of Surgery. He served as Chief Resident of Plastic Surgery in Toledo, Ohio; Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery in the Medical College of Ohio; Associate Director of a Plastic Surgery Residency Program; and Chief of Plastic Surgery at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center and St. Charles Hospital. He is a member of the American Medical Association, and various societies and organizations pertaining to plastic and reconstructive surgery including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.

In addition to performing plastic surgery in Naples, Dr. Murtagh has extensive experience in all forms of reconstructive surgery. His areas of expertise include breast reconstruction following mastectomy, hand reconstruction after trauma, facial reconstruction following facial injury, reconstruction after cancer surgery and reconstruction following burn injuries.
